Having lived in all four corners of the Earth, I feel at home wherever I go. Because everywhere I go, I see all Beings vividly similar. Especially now, where everything seems “developed” and homogenized, yet all Beings are different and unique. We all want to be loved and to be able to give love freely.

We have not been able to find synchronicity with nature and to not destroy it for progress. We have been selfish, taking away from all the resources and filling them with stuff that our generation has created or inherited that the Earth cannot integrate. We find ourselves as part of the problem. Our generation is privileged to be able to communicate at an unprecedented speed and move about the planet freely, thinking that we always have more. Still, the natural world has many unanswered issues which we face now.

Is it time for a re-renaissance for technology and human beings? Because we have created this tool to make us better Beings, right? Where do we start?

I sit and take a deep breath, still my mind, hear noises, and return to my breath.

As Earthlings, we all breath together, rotate, constantly change, and try to find a balance. With all our development, we seem to have lost the way of being harmonious with nature, and now we must refer back to nature to try to live harmoniously again.

We are God because we have created God, yet we forget that everything is interconnected, and the God that we created exists in everything. Anything organic is all part of this planet and breathes together. We are all different, but we are one. Our modernization detached us, and we live in fear.

Our very presence on the planet affects so much because we are the majority of mammals living in this Earth. And we are dangerous and are stupidly destroying Mother Earth consciously!

Would you sit with me and breathe together?
I often find myself looking for other forms of nature when I am stuck in crowds. So I can feel connected. I see the leaves moving with the wind, the clouds passing, the scent in the air of rain, birds flying by and knowing that the Earth is in constant motion. Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives that we forget that we are part of the Earth.

I have lived my life with an inflow of intuition. I dream of the directions I am supposed to go. I have learned to accept the duality in coexistence. As a native Korean who lived far from my own country for many years, I feel the presence of my ancestors as I go through my day. I am here because they have lived and exist through my core being. I feel the connection of my roots as my feet touch the ground. I imagine the light shining down, penetrating and then spilling out from my feet like the tree’s roots to the Earth’s core, and I am in constant connection. I smell the flowers as the scent of life lifts me with the freshness of love. We are all connected as we spin together with the movement of the Earth. The trees wave in the wind as my thoughts change. The flowers bow down in death to celebrate life. I am here because you are here. I cry because of the sorrow of the death and pain of life, yet we all feel the same. It’s something that we all go through together.

Right now, we are facing a critical point where humans have been dominating the Earth for many years, and now we are facing many challenges including evolving so we communicate with our home — the Earth. We build many walls that block nature from coming into our space and forget that we are part of it. The answer is all there, yet we look the other way to find it. Everything on Earth belongs to us, and we belong to it. We need to care for it with love as it has blessed us with abundance and life. Perhaps we don’t know how to communicate and express what we need since we have disconnected and evolved to be apart from nature. I wonder if we can find the answer by watching the waves come and go as we find our breath.

I am home.
